Calling for Participation in Worldwide Commemorations for the 15th Anniversary of June 4, 1989 Democracy Movement in China
The Overseas Chinese Democracy Coalition hereby calls for the attention of all its members and friends to pay tribute to the upcoming 15th anniversary of June 4 Beijing TianAnMen Massacre in 1989, a massacre that the whole world witnessed and was outraged by.
While the Chinese government shows no regret and no remorse on this crime it conducted 15 years ago, to remember and to pay tribute to these people who had perished under gunpoint and tanks have more than ever significance that is not just a passive memorial to the past, but also an action for justice in the future.
While many of our members and charters are actively involved in their local commemoration activities, we also encourage you all to reach out to the public in general and media in particular, to bring the world to another round of the awareness of the Chinese government's suppression and human rights abuses.
For this reason, the chairman of the Coalition Wei Jingsheng will try his best to accommodate the related media's requests. As of now, he has done quite a few TV, radio and newspaper interviews, including Reuters TV, AP, AFP, PBS, Ottawa Citizen (Canada), etc. and many Chinese media as well.
Hereby, we release our June 4 commemoration plan and schedule in the Netherlands as an example of our worldwide activities. The activities in the Netherlands are organized by our Chinese democracy activists, especially our director for the Netherlands chapter, Mr. WANG GuoXin. It is a program with the joint effort of the Overseas Chinese Democracy Coalition, Tomorrow Shall be Better, China Democratic Front, and the Chinese Democratic Party.

Attachment: Schedules and plans in Netherlands
1. Protest in front of Chinese embassy in Netherlands on June 4, 2004;
2. Distribute 1,000 copies of commemoration articles to Chinese residents in Netherlands;
3. Collect signatures to support 1989 democracy movement;
4. Copy and redistribution 1,000 copies of the "Overseas Chinese Communication" issues in regarding 1989 movement, which was published 15 years ago;
5. Receiving BBC Chinese radiobroadcast interviews, as witnesses for the 1989 movement;
6. Publish 10,000 copies of special issues in commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the 1989 Chinese democracy movement; Articles and contributions are welcome;
7. Visiting and meeting with varies political parties of Netherlands, enhance the communications and encourage them to pay more attention on Chinese human rights condition;
8. Organized visit to Netherlands parliament, learn more about its democratic process;
9. Music and songs to give the year of 1989 more meaning of life (on June 5 in Utrecht office).

请大家积极参加世界各地的纪念六四15周年的活动
中国民主运动海外联席会议特此号召其成员及朋友们积极参加世界性的纪念六四15周年的有关活动。十五年来中共变本加厉，肆无忌惮地摧残人权，我们组织参加这些活动不仅仅是对过去的纪念，更是为了在将来讨回公道。
除了积极参加当地活动外，联席会议还要提醒大家不要忽略了媒体的力量，使中国的人权民主运动再次成为世界关注之焦点。
同样的原因，联席会议主席魏京生先生将尽可能地满足媒体的要求。目前，他已接受了多家电视，电台，报纸等的采访，如路透社（电视），美联社，法广，美国公众广播电台，渥太华公民报，等等。
在此，我们发布由明天会更好工程，民阵荷兰分部，联席会议荷兰分部，中国民主党荷兰分部共同发起的荷兰的纪念1989年六四的15周年纪念活动表。

荷兰纪念八九民运十五周年系列活动表
1，6月4日，在中国驻荷兰大使馆前抗议。
2，向荷兰侨学界大量传送、邮寄纪念文章，1000份。
3，征集为纪念八九民运网上签名。
4，将15年前刊有支持八九民运内容的《华侨通讯》复印、分发、邮寄1000份。
5，接受BBC中文广播节目采访，为八九民运作见证。
6，出版八九民运十五周年纪念专刊，10000份。在此征集纪念文章、图片、广告。
7，拜访、函会荷兰各党派，建立联系，使荷兰各政党关注中国人权状况。
8，组织参观荷兰国会，学习国会运作。欢迎报名参加。
