Wei Jingsheng Meets with US Congressional Human Rights Caucus Co-Chairman Frank Wolf, Discuss Working Together to Prevent a War and to Advocate Democracy and Human Rights
On Tuesday, December 20, Wei Jingsheng and aides Huang Ciping and Meng Bo'en met with Senior Congressman Frank Wolf in the US Congress to discuss and make arrangements for setting a firm policy on China in the coming legislative session of the US Congress.
Congressman Wolf has been one of the leading advocates of international human rights, and has been particularly tough on China for its human rights violations. He is the co-chairman of the Congressional Human Rights Caucus, composed by nearly 200 members of the US Congress. For many years, Congressman Wolf has actively supported Mr. Wei Jingsheng's human rights causes as well as provided help to the Wei Jingsheng Foundation.
The two sides exchanged information in regarding China's current situation and reached a common understanding on a policy towards China. The main topic of the discussions included how to prevent China from launching a war, as well as how to jointly advocate and protect human rights in China.

美国国会人权小组组长沃尔夫与魏京生会晤，讨论如何阻止中国发动战争及进一步推动人权
2005年12月20日下午，魏京生及其助手黄慈萍，孟博恩前往美国资深众议员弗兰克沃尔夫（Frank Wolf）在美国国会的办公室，与他及他的助手就明年下届国会开会期间确定出一个对中国的政策进行了详细的讨论与安排。
沃尔夫议员一直是国际人权斗士的领袖之一，也一直特别关注中国的人权与民主进展。他是由将近200名美国国会议员组成的美国国会人权小组的组长。多年来给予魏京生先生及魏京生基金会积极的帮助与支持。
双方就中国的现况进行了情况交换，并就美国的对华政策进行了磋商并达成共识。讨论的主题包括如何阻止中国发动战争及为共同提倡与保护中国的人权而进行合作。
