Compared to the Violent Song Played by Lang Lang at the White House State
Dinner, is Clearly Good against Evil
[The
Epoch Times, January 27, 2011] (reported by the Washington Bureau of the Epoch
Times) On January 25, 2011, Huang Ciping, the executive director of the Wei
Jingsheng Foundation and the Secretary-General of the Overseas Chinese
Democracy Coalition, watched the special Shen Yun performance by the Shen Yun
Performing Arts New York Company, at the Kennedy Center's Opera House in the US
Capital, Washington, DC. The
performance that evening was a special one not open to the general public. More than one thousand spectators of
Washington's politicians, celebrities, artists, soldiers, and FBI, CIA
officers, etc, dressed up to attend.
The place was gorgeous, solemn, and full of artistic atmosphere.
After
she watched the performance, Ms. Huang accepted an interview by the Epoch Times
reporters.

Watching
the Shen Yun Helps You Understand the True Chinese Culture
Huang
Ciping said that this was the third time for her watching the Shen Yun
Performing Arts Company. The
performance was very professional. There are several characteristics of the performance by the
Shen Yun. The first is that the
performance is full of Chinese cultural atmosphere, and is able to spread the
orthodox Chinese culture in the world.
In today's society, whether in China and overseas, people often do not
know what Chinese culture really is.
Sometimes, they think that the Chinese culture is the culture of the
Chinese Communist Party. By watching
the Shen Yun, one can feel the true Chinese culture. Using dance, the Shen Yun Performing Arts Company displayed
the culture, history, clothing, and art of the different dynasties during
Chinese history.

The
Creativity of the Shen Yun
Huang
Ciping said: the second characteristic of the Shen Yun performance is that is
was very creative. For example,
the dance "Plum Flowers" is based on the traditional fan dance. However, Shen Yun's performance not
only demonstrated the beauty of the traditional fan dances, but also
demonstrated their unique charm and rhythm, which was really beautiful. Meanwhile, the superb technical
capacity of the dancers brought a deeply spiritual enjoyment.
The
part of the program that reflected the persecution against Falun Gong
practitioners in China is very important.
In fact, in Mainland China, many different groups have been persecuted,
but Falun Gong practitioners are particularly suppressed. It is necessary to let the world
know. Telling it in dance form
could let the audience feel it more profoundly.

Chinese
Communist Party Culture is not Chinese Culture
Some
people informed me that in recent years, there has been a Mao Zedong portrait
hung on the Christmas tree in the White House. I was totally shocked when I learned about it, it suggests
there are people who think that the Chinese Communist Party represents the
"Chinese culture". Given
that Mao Zedong and the Chinese Communist Party killed 80,000,000 Chinese, if
there are people who use Mao's portrait to represent thousands of years of
Chinese culture it is indeed a shame to the Chinese people and people of the
world. It is a humiliation to the
Chinese culture and Chinese civilization.
On
the contrary, the Shen Yun did a good thing, opposite to that wrong
representation. The Shen Yun
allows the world to know the true Chinese culture, including the connotation of
"Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance". They let the world understand Chinese history and Chinese
culture. This is a very good thing
that the Shen Yun do to help China's own development and progress, and ultimately
to end the disaster that Falun Gong practitioners and the Chinese people are
suffering through under the one-party dictatorship of the Communist Party, and
end this one-party dictatorship altogether. As the Shen Yun pushes for the progress of the Chinese
culture, it is also pushing for the progress in China.

President Hu Jintao Exposed the Violent culture of the Chinese Communists in
the White House, the Shen Yun Exhibits the True Chinese Culture at the Kennedy
Center
Huang
said: the Chinese Communist's cultural performances often are packaged very
well, as was the performance at the White House just a few days ago. When you just hear the music, you might
think it is a pleasant piano piece.
But the real content of that music was about how the "Chinese
people', meaning the Chinese Communists, will for sure defeat "American
Imperialism" and kill the "American jackals and wolves". It is very combative. To play this kind of music in the White
House is really praising highly a culture of violence.
Huang
Ciping thinks that Lang Lang playing Hu Jintao's beloved song in the White
House revealed the hidden violent nature of shamelessness under a coat of
culture propagated by the Chinese Communist Party. Meanwhile, the true Chinese culture was displayed at the
Kennedy Center in Washington DC by the Shen Yun performance. The "Truthfulness, Compassion, and
Tolerance" delivered by the Shen Yun is a shared value of all human
beings.

【大纪元2011年01月27日讯】（大纪元记者华府记者站报导）魏京生基金会执行主任、中国民主运动海外联席会议秘书长黄慈萍女士观看了神韵纽约艺术团2011年1月25日在美国华府肯尼迪歌剧院的专场演出。当晚的演出是不对公众公开售票的专场，来自美国华府的政要、名流、艺术家、军人和FBI、CIA等部门的人员等一千多名观众盛装出席。场面华丽、庄重，充满艺术气氛。
黄女士在看完演出后，接受了大纪元记者采访。

看神韵就能领会到真正的中国文化
黄慈萍表示，这是我第三次观看神韵艺术团表演，演出非常专业。神韵艺术团的演出有几个特点。首先是表演很有中国文化气息，能够在全世界传播中国的正统文化。现今的社会，不论是在中国大陆还是在海外的人，常常不知道中国文化是什么。他们以为中国文化就是共产党的文化。看神韵就能领会到真正的中国文化。神韵艺术团的演出以舞蹈的方式，展现中国的历朝历代的文化、历史、服饰和艺术。

神韵的创意
黄慈萍说，第二个特点是神韵演出很有创意。比如舞蹈《梅》，其实是个扇子舞，但神韵的表演不但有传统的扇子舞的美丽，又有神韵艺术团自有的独特的魅力和韵味在里边，看了之后感到非常美。同时因为神韵演员技术水准的高超，看他们表演是一种精神享受。
神韵艺术团节目中反映法轮功修炼者在中国大陆受迫害的情况很重要。其实在中国大陆，很多不同团体都受到迫害，但法轮功修炼者最受打压。让全世界都了解很有必要。以舞蹈形式表现受迫害的情形，让观众通过音乐和舞蹈亲身感受，体会更深刻。

中共的党文化不是中国文化
有人告诉过我，近两年在白宫的圣诞树上挂有毛的图像作为装饰，我感到很惊讶。因为共产党文化被认为就是“中国文化”。毛和共产党杀害了八千万的中国人，却有人以毛的图像代表中国几千年的文化，这简直是对中国人民、对世界人民的羞辱，是对中国文化、中国文明的亵渎。
而恰恰相反的是，神韵做了与之相反的好事。神韵让世界了解真正的中国文化，包括“真、善、忍”的内涵。它让世人了解中国的历史、中国的文化。对中国自身的发展、进步及最终结束法轮功和中国人民的灾难及结束中共一党专制，神韵做了一件非常非常好的事。
神韵在推动中国文化的同时也在推动中国的进步。

胡锦涛在白宫曝光中共暴力文化，神韵在肯尼迪展现真正中华文化
大陆的文艺表演常常包装得很好。就像几天前的白宫表演，咋一听以为是一首好听的钢琴曲，但曲子的内涵却是所谓的“中国人民”——也就是共产党一定会打败美帝国主义，杀掉“美帝国主义豺狼”。实际上它杀气腾腾。在白宫演奏这样的曲子，就是推崇暴力的文化。
黄慈萍认为，郎朗在白宫演绎的胡锦涛所喜爱的曲子，在所谓的中共宣传的文化下面隐藏着非常肮脏无耻的暴力特性。神韵同时在美国华府肯尼迪歌剧院展现的是真正的中国文化，神韵传递的“真、善、忍”资讯是全人类所共用的价值。
