The
Wei Jingsheng Foundation Issues Last Call for Nominees for its Tenth Annual
"Wei Jingsheng Chinese Democracy Champion Prize"
The
tenth annual "Wei Jingsheng Chinese Democracy Champion Prize"
nomination is in process. We want
to express our gratitude for the participation, as well as for the suggestions
and input from our friends all over the world, in this regard.
As
this foundation is carefully reviewing each of the nominees and their reference
materials, we must inform our friends and readers to submit their nominations
for this year by midnight on Sunday, November 3, 2013 (US Eastern Standard
Time), for a timely review before the decision and announcement of the 10th
annual "Wei Jingsheng Chinese Democracy Champion Prize".
If
you have a person to nominate, please send the name, the credentials, other
possible referrals, methods of communication and suitable details to us. The best way to reach us is via e-mail. The contact e-mail address is:

most of your might already know, the annual announcement is made on December 5,
the date of publication of the well-known article "The 5th Modernization -
Chinese Democracy", by Mr. Wei Jingsheng in 1978, a landmark date for the
Chinese democracy progress.
We
are deeply moved by the devotion and contributions that our fellow nominees
have made toward Chinese democracy and human rights. We are thankful to those nominators who provide for the
outside world an opportunity to know our nominees better. We appreciate the financial support
from our donors to this award. The
Wei Jingsheng Foundation is a non-profit tax-exempt organization registered in
the USA. Your donation is
tax-deductible. You may request to
remain anonymous or to have our public acknowledgment of your donation. However, we will not reveal monetary
amounts of your donation.
