Human
Rights Activist: It Shows the Values of Justice
[Epoch
Times January 22, 2014] (Reported by the Epoch Times reporter Li Chen from
Washington, DC, USA) The well-known human rights activist and the executive
director of the Wei Jingsheng Foundation, Ms. Huang Ciping, watched the first
Shen Yun Performance by the New York based Shen Yun Performing Arts at the
Kennedy Center Opera House in Washington, DC on the evening of January 21. After the performance, she praised the
show as displaying the true Chinese traditional culture and genuine values.
Huang
Ciping said: "The Shen Yun performance demonstrated 'Truthfulness,
Compassion and Forbearance', that is very important. It demonstrated a genuine traditional Chinese culture and
the values of justice."
Huang
Ciping said that the Chinese people advocate the traditional concept of a
unified nature and human race: "Human are a product of nature. The Communist Party is actually a cult. Yet it calls all the others cults,
because the Communist Party itself is the real cult."
She
said that the performance shows the Chinese traditional culture during
different periods: "It portraits different dynasties from the Han Dynasty,
the Tang Dynasty, until the Qing Dynasty..." She said that it was good to
watch Shen Yun promoting Chinese culture, in contrast to the attack and
destruction of China's five thousand years of culture, include Confucianism,
Buddhism, and Taoism during the Communist rule.
Huang
Ciping noticed use of the lotus in several programs of the Shen Yun
performance: "The lotus is a symbol of purity and justice. This symbol is important, not only to
we Chinese in keeping our culture, but also to the non-Chinese friends to
promote our culture."
Huang
Ciping said it is an honor to watch the performance. She said: "We need people to carry our culture from
generation to generation. From
this aspect, the young performers of Shen Yun are obviously carrying the fine
tradition and excellent culture of our ancestors."
Ms.
Huang Ciping graduated with a degree in nuclear physics from the University of
Science and Technology of China, where Professor Fang Lizhi, the late
well-known professor of physics and democracy advocator taught. She was also the chairman of the
Independent Federation of Chinese Students and Scholars (IFCSS).

人权活动家：展现正义的价值观
【大纪元2014年01月22日讯】（大纪元记者李辰美国华盛顿DC报导）知名人权活动家、魏京生基金会执行主任黄慈萍女士1月21日晚观看了神韵纽约艺术团在美国华盛顿DC肯尼迪艺术中心的首场演出后赞叹，神韵展现的是真正的中国传统文化和真正的价值观。
黄慈萍说："神韵演出展现了'真、善、忍'，非常重要！神韵展现了一种真正的中国传统文化，正义的价值观！"
黄慈萍表示：中国人崇尚天人合一的传统理念，"人本来就是一个自然的产物，共产党其实是一个真正的邪教，但是它把其他的都叫成邪教，因为共产党自己才是真正的邪教。"
她说，晚会展现了不同时期的中国传统文化："纵向不同的朝代，从汉朝，唐朝，清朝......"她表示，神韵弘扬中国文化，但是中共产执政后执行儒、佛、道全灭的政策，摧毁中国的五千年文化。
黄慈萍表示：神韵演出中有几个节目使用了莲花，"莲花是纯洁正义的象征，演出中有好几处都有，我觉得这些都是很重要的，就是不光是给中国人一个提醒，保持中国的文化，而且也是向海外的朋友，外国的朋友们弘扬中国的文化。"
黄慈萍表示观赏神韵是一种荣幸。她说："中国很多东西要后继有人，一代传一代，在这个意义上，神韵的年轻演员们显然继承了（中国）先辈的优良的传统，优秀的文化。"
黄慈萍女士毕业于中国科技大学，曾师从已故中国知名物理学教授及民主斗士方励之先生，获得核物理学学位，还曾担任全美学自联主席。
