(Location
and Strategy Update) Please Join Us to Protest Xi Jinping's White House Visit
on September 25, 2015
On
September 25, 2015, President Obama will welcome Chinese President Xi Jinping
in the White House with a welcome ceremony at 9am, followed by a press
conference in the Rose Garden in the morning, and a state dinner later. As Chinese human rights situation
deteriorated further, Wei Jingsheng, chairman of the Overseas Chinese Democracy
Coalition, is calling for protest by all the people who care about freedom and
human rights to join hundreds protestors nearby the White House. We will start our protest at 8am at the
Lafayette Park (located just north of the White House and south of H street
NW), as President Obama receiving Xi Jinping. Please join us, as well as our Tibetan friends, and Falun
Gong practitioners, etc. to protest and to demand human rights and freedom for
all!
We
also suggest individuals or group people of less than 10, to protest Xi Jinping
and his delegation of human rights violations, in the way of following their
activities (lunch in the State Department, the National Zoo, outside of the
Hotel they stay) of the day in Washington DC, according to the law.

2015年9月25日，美国总统奥巴马将在白宫欢迎中国国家主席习近平一行，包括在白宫南草坪举行的欢迎仪式及之后在玫瑰园举行的新闻发布会，以及晚上的国宴。在中国人权状况进一步恶化的当前，中国民主运动海外联席会议主席魏京生，呼吁所有关心自由和人权的人们加入我们将在白宫外举行的数以百计的民众参加的示威和抗议。我们的抗议活动将在25日早上8点在白宫外拉法耶特公园(华盛顿西北区H街之南，白宫之北)开始。当奥巴马总统欢迎独裁者习近平一行时，也正是我们，以及我们的藏人朋友和法轮功学员等抗议并要求所有人的人权和自由的时候！
