On
the evening of June 4, pro-democracy activists and dissidents in Washington DC
held a candlelight service commemorating the 27th anniversary of the June 4
TianAnMen Square Massacre in front of the Chinese Embassy in Washington
DC. The participants mourned the
victims of the June Massacre, and expressed solidarity with the suppressed
activists. IFCSS, the organizer,
awarded "the 2016 IFCSS Spirit of Freedom Award" to Guo Feixiong who
is in jail. His wife Zhang Qing
went to the ceremony to accept the award on his behalf.

6月4日晚，美国首都华盛顿的民运人士和执不同政见者在中国驻美国大使馆前举行六四27周年烛光纪念会。与会者悼念六四事件的死难者，声援遭打压的维权人士，主办方全美学自联向狱中的郭飞雄颁发"2016年全美学自联自由精神奖"，他的妻子张青到现场为其代领。
