"The Exhibition of the State Terrorist Atrocities Conducted by the Chinese Communist Regime" and the "Goddess of Democracy" Statue Displayed in Front of the United States Capitol (videos)

Initiated in mid-May from Los Angeles, the Exhibition of the State Terrorist Atrocities Conducted by the Chinese Communist Regime and the 12-foot high "Goddess of Democracy" statue by Mr. Chen Weiming traveled thousands of miles. On June 1, they arrived in the US Capital Washington DC on the East Coast of the USA. On the afternoon on June 2, 2016, they were displayed west of the US Capitol building in Washington DC.

The venue was on the central axis of the National Mall between the US Capitol building and the Washington Monument (obelisk). The Washington Monument, the Goddess of Democracy of China, and the US Capitol Building formed a line.

The event was co-organized by the Los Angeles Chinese democracy platform, the Chinese Democratic Party, the Wei Jingsheng Foundation, the Citizens Research Institute, the Chinese Democracy Education Foundation, Chinese Women's rights, Chinese petitioners, and the Goddess of Democracy Foundation, after nearly one year of preparation.

Huang Ciping, the Executive Director of the Wei Jingsheng Foundation, presided over the gathering and the press conference. Later, the exhibition team set up a big screen with a slide show displaying the June 4 Massacre materials that the group made in commemoration. The visitors gathered together to feel the stirring scenes of 27 years ago with the organizers.

In addition to the statue, the pictures, the audios and videos and other contents, democracy advocators and activists from Washington and around the nation spoke enthusiastically from 2pm to 5pm. Their passionate speeches are shown in the videos below.

“中共国家恐怖主义暴行展”及陈维明先生制作的12尺高"民主女神"雕像于2016年6月2日下午在华盛顿DC美国国会前展出。

自5月中从洛杉矶启程的中共国家恐怖主义暴行展及陈维明先生制作的12尺高"民主女神"雕像在长途跋涉一路展出数千英哩后，6月1日，到达位于美国东部的首都华盛顿，并于2016年6月2日下午在美国国会山的国会大厦之西展出。

展览地点在美国国会与美国国家纪念碑（方尖碑）的中轴线上，国家纪念碑－－中国的民主女神像－－美国国会连城一线。

这项活动由洛杉矶中国民主平台、中国民主党、魏京生基金会、公民研究所、中国民主教育基金会、中国妇权、中国访民、民主女神基金会共同主办，活动经过了近一年时间的准备。

魏京生基金会执行主任黄慈萍主持这场会议。会议结束后，展览小组就地支起了大屏幕，用幻灯机播放了展览组制作的纪念“六。四”的音像资料，此刻有国会大草坪上的游人都聚拢过来，和举办者一起感受27年前震撼人心的场景。

除了雕像、图片、音像等内容，来自华盛顿及全美各地的民主人士及活动家们在下午2时至5时时踊跃发言。发言者激情演讲的视频如下：
