"Yu Luoke and the Unequal Society in China" by Yu Luowen to be Held
on February 25, 2017 and Videos of Seminar "the China-USA Economic and
Trade Relations During the Trump Times" by Professor Xia Yeliang on

The
third of "The Way Out for China" seminars by the Wei Jingsheng
Foundation will be held:
On Saturday, February 25, 2017, from 2pm
to 5pm (followed by a dinner at 6pm)
The place: 1150 Connecticut Avenue, NW, DC

The subject of the seminar: "Yu Luoke
and the Unequal Society in China"
The main speaker of the seminar: Yu
LuoWen.
This
seminar is to specially commemorate Yu Luoke, the human rights pioneer who was
executed on March 5, 1970, due to his writing "Theory of the Origin of
Family Background", a declaration of human rights in China. The keynote speaker Yu Luowen is his
younger brother.
During
the seminar, we will provide drinks and snacks, as well as 20 minutes of break
time, followed by a dinner. We
welcome all the participants to attend our dinner. Anyone interested in attending the seminar, please register
yourself with the Wei Jingsheng Foundation via: HCP@WeiJingSheng.org or
HCP0411WJS@aol.com ASAP, due to seating limitation. Due to the security setup at the building, you also will
need to call 202-270-6980 to enter the seminar room upon your arrival.
The
Wei Jingsheng Foundation has been holding "The Way Out for China" seminar
series since September 2016 in an effort to take the initiative and seek the
best possible ways for China to collectively respond, discuss, and take actions
concerning the upcoming social, political, economic and cultural changes in
China.
Each
separate seminar will target one particular subject of interest or an ongoing
event in China. It will take the
format of starting with a presentation by a honored/invited speaker about the
subject of the seminar, followed by other speakers and discussion. We welcome contribution and discussion
from the attendees at the seminars, and suggestions for future seminar topics
and content, etc.
