Wei Jingsheng Met With Friends and Supporters During His Journey to Southern California

At the end of February, 2019， Wei Jingsheng and Huang Ciping went to Southern California to attend several human rights and democracy activities, as well as meet with more than 100 friends and supporters. In particular, they attended the unveiling of the world's largest monument commemorating the June 4 Massacre during the 1989 Democracy Movement in China on February 23 and the 6th "Oscar Chinese Human Rights Awards" ceremony on February 24, 2019.

Besides the Chinese friends and supporters, they also met with American friends and friends from other nations, exchanged information and discussed issues, especially about how to push for human rights and democracy all over the world. After Wei Jingsheng left, Huang Ciping also met with friends and supporters, on behalf of Wei Jingsheng.
