Wei Jingsheng and Huang Ciping Meet with Lee Cheuk-yan and Hong Kong Democrats

At noon on October 20, 2019, Wei Jingsheng, Huang Ciping and Wang Guoxing, Chairman of the Chinese Democratic Front, met with Lee Cheuk-yan, Hong Kong's democrat leader and several young democrats from Hong Kong who were with him.

During the meeting, Mr. Wei praised the resistance spirit of the people in Hong Kong and spoke highly of the solidarity spirit between the brave fighters and those who advocate "peace, rationality and non-violence". They agreed that without brave fighters, there will be no survival of "peace, rationality and non-violence". Only unity can achieve the best ending.

Mr. Wei particularly reminded the Hong Kong Democrats to be wary of the various plots of the Communist regime, including the conspiracy to call for the Hong Kong democrats to move on to a struggle within the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong. As the young people in Hong Kong have said, the members of the Communist regime definitely have a majority in the Legislative Council. It is a trap to think there is room for struggle within the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong.

The conversation was very rich in its contents. The atmosphere was intimate and warm. The meeting didn't finish for a long time. Everyone agreed to support each other until the day of successful democratization of Hong Kong and China.

魏京生、黄慈萍会见李卓人等香港民主人士

2019年10月20日中午，魏京生、黄慈萍及中国民主阵线主席王国兴，在巴黎会见了香港民主派领袖李卓人，及与他同行的几位香港民主派中青年骨干。

期间魏先生高度赞扬了香港人民的反抗精神，并且高度评价了勇武派与和理非群众之间的团结精神。大家都认为没有勇武派就没有和理非，只有团结才能取得最好的结局。

魏先生特别提醒香港民主派警惕中共的各种阴谋，包括呼吁香港民主派走向议会斗争的阴谋。正如香港年轻人所说，他们中共的人在议会中铁定占有多数，哪里还有什么议会斗争，那就是个陷阱。

交谈内容十分丰富，气氛亲密而又热烈，久久不能结束。大家相约互相支持，直到香港民主化和中国民主化成功的一天。
