Wei Jingsheng Meets with Friends From Political, Business and Cultural Circles and Gives a Keynote Speech at a Cultural Gathering in Munich, Germany

On October 16th, 2019 at 7pm, Wei Jingsheng and Huang Ciping rushed to Munich to participate in the cultural gathering, hosted by Countess Felizitas von Schonborn. After listening to Wei Jingsheng's keynote speech, friends from the political, business and cultural circles in Munich raised many sharp questions. The topics focused on the future of Xi Jinping and the Hong Kong issue. They thought that if Xi Jinping adopts a strong repression measure, then the Hong Kong issue cannot be resolved. Instead, Hong Kong, the economic center of Asia, will be ruined, thus bringing enormous trouble to economic development in China.

After the gathering, participants moved to a restaurant for dinner and continued their discussion with the topics extended to Russia, the United States and the Middle East, until the translator Li Lu (a Munich local German) was too tired to continue her translation. The banquet continued until midnight, when the participants reluctantly broke up.

The next day, Wei Jingsheng had a lunch meeting with other people in Munich and talked more about China.

魏京生与德国慕尼黑政商文化界朋友会面并在文化聚会上做主题演讲

2019年10月16号晚7点，魏京生和黄慈萍赶到慕尼黑，参加了冯逊伯女伯爵家的文化聚会。慕尼黑政商文化界的朋友们听取了魏京生的主题讲演后，提出了很多尖锐的问题。话题集中在习近平的前途和香港问题。大家都认为，习近平如果采取强力镇压的措施，将是香港问题得不到解决，并且毁掉作为亚洲经济中心的香港，给中国的经济发展带来巨大的麻烦。

聚会之后到餐馆继续讨论，话题增加到俄罗斯、美国和中东问题。直到把翻译李露（慕尼黑本地德国人）女士累到说错话为止。宴会延续到十二点关门，才恋恋不舍地分手。

次日，魏京生等人又与其他慕尼黑人士进行了会谈并共进午餐。
