Commemorating the 31st Anniversary of the Tiananmen Massacre" on June 3, 2020
As the 31st anniversary
of June 4th Massacre approaches, dozens of organizations around the world will
jointly hold a virtual commemorative event on the evening of June 3, 2020,
starting at 7:30pm US Eastern Time.
The "Global
Conference to Commemorate the 31st Anniversary of the Tiananmen Square
Massacre" on the Internet is co-sponsored by the June 4th Archives, China
Aid Association, China Democracy & Human Rights Alliance, Democracy
Education Foundation, Federation for Democratic China in the USA, Liberty
Sculpture Park, and the Wei Jingsheng Foundation, etc.
The purpose of this
event is to protest the Chinese Communist Party's massacre in Tiananmen Square
on June 4, 1989. Meanwhile, it also
protests the CCP's harsh repression of the people in Hong Kong, Xinjiang and
Tibet, as well as its inhumane act of allowing the Wuhan virus to spread all
over the world and lead to innocent deaths.
At present, nearly fifty
organizations from the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia, including
democratic groups, human rights groups, religious groups, and Tibetan and
Uyghur groups, have signed up for this event.
The East US part will be hosted by Lawyer Jinjin Li of the Chinese
Democracy Party in Chinese and Ciping HUANG of the Wei Jingsheng Foundation in
English. At that time, human rights
activists and supporters from China and other countries including US Senator
Marco Rubio and Wei Jingsheng will make statements.

魏京生基金会等共同主办“纪念天安门大屠杀三十一周年全球网络会议”
在“六四屠杀”31周年即将来临之际，全球数十个团体将于美国东部时间2020年6月3日晚7点半联合举行网络纪念活动。
由六四档案、对华援助协会、中国民主人权联盟、民主教育基金会、美国民阵、自由雕塑公园和魏京生基金会等共同主办的“纪念天安门大屠杀三十一周年全球网络会议”，将于六月三日晚间7点半举行。
本次活动旨在抗议中共1989年6月4日在天安门广场的屠杀。同时抗议中共在香港、新疆和西藏等地对人民的严酷镇压，以及中共任由武汉病毒泛滥全球、导致无辜死亡的非人道行径。
目前，来自美国、加拿大、欧洲、亚洲，包括民主团体、人权团体、宗教团体，以及藏人团体和维吾尔人团体在内的近五十个组织，已经报名参加本次活动。美东部分将由中国民主党的李进进律师主持中文，魏京生基金会的黄慈萍主持英文。届时将有世界各地的民主人权支持者包括美国参议员卢比奥、魏京生等发表声明。
会议前将公布更多具体参与细节，请大家关注。
