Huang Ciping, executive
director of the Wei Jingsheng Foundation, said: “Chinese
Heart” has different meanings, and she has a true
Chinese heart, with her hopes to promote democracy and freedom in China. Having been in the United States for more
than 30 years, Huang Ciping still retains her Chinese nationality because she
believes that the true meaning of patriotism is to love her Chinese
compatriots, instead of the meaning usurped by the CCP: to love the Communist
Party. Huang Ciping pointed out that the
Nazis also set off a frenetic wave of "patriotism" and took the
opportunity to persecute the Jews. But
now Germany is democratic. The beginning
of the German Constitution states that the people have the right to overthrow
tyranny by force. The Germans now know:
Observing their Constitution and opposing tyranny is true patriotism.
Huang Ciping pointed out
that over the years, she has been constantly criticizing the Chinese Communist
regime, reporting China's human rights disasters, exposing the totalitarian
nature of the Chinese Communist Party, and promoting democracy and freedom, as
a manifestation of her patriotism.
Huang Ciping resolutely
opposes overseas Chinese stealing advanced technology to send back to China,
and condemns those who do not hesitate to infringe intellectual property rights
for their own benefit and help the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) acting like a
beast. Some of these people are already
American citizens, but lack the minimum universal values. They betrayed the democratic and free America
to which they swore allegiance. HUANG urged
righteous Chinese to stand up and oppose this kind of shameless behavior, lest
every Chinese be implicated due to the actions of these minority Chinese.
Right on the 75th
anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Huang Ciping recalled her trip to
Japan 25 years ago when she went to Hiroshima for the 50th anniversary. She talked about giving up her beloved
nuclear physics major for the sake of conscience. She especially emphasized that when advanced
technology falls into the hands of a dictatorship, it will become a tool to
suppress the people. She called on the
Chinese not to sell themselves for the CCP dictatorship.
Huang Ciping, who was
originally a major in nuclear physics, said from her own experience that the
Communist regime in China has stolen many advanced technologies overseas,
including the neutron bomb. The
consequences of nuclear proliferation and nuclear war are unimaginable. Now the Communist regime has accelerated its
theft and development of science and technology, especially biology, through
the "Thousand Talents Project."
Since the Communist regime ignores ethics, its prospects in related
technologies, especially including gene editing, do not allow us to be careless
and optimistic. She called on Chinese
scientists to maintain their conscience and not to sell their conscience for
money.

魏京生基金会执行主任黄慈萍说：中国心有不同的表示，她有一颗真正的中国心，希望能推动中国的民主自由。来美三十多年了，黄慈萍却至今还保留中国国籍。因为她认为，爱国的真正含义是爱中国同胞，而不是被中共篡夺了的含义：爱共产党。黄慈萍指出当年纳粹也掀起了一股狂热的“爱国主义”热潮，并借机迫害犹太人。现在德国民主了，德国宪法的开头就指出，人民有用武力推翻暴政的权力。德国人知道：遵守宪法，反对暴政，才是真正的爱国主义。
黄慈萍指出历年来不断批评中共政府，曝光中国的人权灾难，揭露中共的极权本质，推动民主自由，正是爱国的体现。
黄慈萍坚决反对海外华人剽窃先进技术回中国，并谴责这些为了自己的利益不惜侵犯知识产权，帮助中共的为虎作伥做法。其中有些人已经是美国公民，却缺乏最起码的普世价值，背叛了他们宣誓效忠的民主自由的美国。她呼吁公正的华人站起来，反对这种无耻行为，免得大家都被牵连，殃及池鱼。
正值广岛原子弹爆炸75周年，黄慈萍回顾她25年前出差日本，亲赴广岛参加50周年纪念的往事，谈到她为了良心，放弃心爱的核物理专业。她特别强调当先进的技术落到独裁专制的手中，会变成镇压人民的工具。她呼吁华人不要为中共独裁卖身。
原是核物理专业的黄慈萍以自身的经历谈到中共已经在海外偷了许多先进技术，包括中子弹，其核扩散与核战的后果难以想象。而现在中共更通过“千人计划”等加速其在科技尤其是生物方面的偷窃与发展。由于中共无视道德规范，其在相关科技方面尤其是生物领域包括基因编辑等的前景不容我们大意与乐观。她呼吁中国的科学家保持自己的良知，不要为了钱而出卖良知。
