2020 Review

What changes have taken place in the international and domestic situation in 2020? What impact will it have on we Chinese and China's future? This is an issue that everyone cares about, even more than in the past.

The first biggest change is the epidemic of Wuhan pneumonia. So far, more than 70 million people have been infected and more than 1.7 million people have died. China's data are not included here, because the Chinese government has concealed the epidemic from the very beginning and fabricated data, so people without prejudice will not trust its data. The epidemic has profoundly affected the global political economy.

The second biggest change is that Sino-US relations have fallen to the bottom of history. Driven by the Trump administration, three-quarters of Americans feel that China is the greatest threat to the United States. Xi Jinping’s wolf warrior diplomacy has prompted the world to see clearly the wolf ambitions of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The CCP’s full penetration and bribery of various countries have prompted people from all countries to increase their vigilance and take measures to respond. The world political situation has undergone a fundamental reversal, and the CCP has fallen into unprecedented isolation.

The third great change is that the people of Hong Kong and Xinjiang have resolutely resisted the suppression of the CCP and won the sympathy of the international community. This in turn increased the pressure on Xi Jinping's regime and exacerbated the diplomatic decline of the CCP. At the same time, it has also accelerated further global support for the Chinese people to resist tyranny.

At the same time, the internal repression of the Xi Jinping regime has further escalated. Some methods of repression are even more severe than those during the Cultural Revolution. With the connivance and instigation of the highest level of the CCP, the atrocities have spread to the most basic levels of the Chinese government. On the other hand, robbing and atrocities has also been harmful to the highest levels. All strata in China from top to bottom are caught in the terror of totalitarian politics.

In the past year, the use of high-tech means to comprehensively and deeply suppress is a new feature of the Xi Jinping regime. 2020 was the year of the explosion of repressive technology in China. There is already not much room for Chinese people to gain information and express themselves freely. Last year, they were further squeezed by high-tech projects. The Chinese people fell into further fear.

Due to this deep oppression, and also due to the rising awareness of Chinese democracy and freedom by the anti-CCP trend in the world, the democratic movement of Chinese people at home and abroad has also entered a rising stage. Many people who had been disappointed and exhausted by the democratic movement rekindled their enthusiasm. The people inside China who were oppressed to numbness have gradually recovered their resistance, and their interest in democracy and freedom has risen again.

This is concentrated in the support of the Trump camp by many pro-democracy activists and those who are concerned about the Chinese democracy movement in this US election. This enthusiasm far exceeds the Chinese people's previous attention to the US elections. The Trump team changed the policy of appeasement to the CCP evident over the past few decades, and increased its counterattack against the CCP economically, politically and militarily. Especially in the past more than one year, with the awakening of American public opinion of the CCP evil regime, the anti-Communist efforts of the Trump team have increased. Overseas Chinese support for Trump is also increasing and accelerating.

Some other democratic activists and Chinese have stood on the side supporting the Democratic Party of the USA due to their negative feeling of the past several years’ Trump’s hesitation against the CCP, and his flattering words of Xi Jinping and Kim Jong-un, and their trust of the Democratic Party which has been more concerned about China’s human rights and democracy in the previous years. This is a very normal phenomenon. Even within the Chinese democrats, there was never only one point of view, and there has never been a uniform opinion, or “a prohibition to make negative comments of the central government” as ruled by the CCP.

However, on the one hand, due to the lack of democratic literacy of the Chinese people, they are easily excited and cannot tolerate disagreement; on the other hand, the overt and secret CCP agents pretending to be democracy advocates and speaking badly at each other with arrogance played a role in instigating discord, making a short time split among some friends who support democracy against the CCP. This is a new situation and a new problem in the Chinese democratic movement.

I believe this is only a short-term phenomenon. Soon everyone will calm down. Exposing these CCP agents, we will reunite under the banner of anti-communism and democracy. Why? During the period when everyone's emotions were the most divided, we the Overseas Chinese Democracy Coalition held a three-day conference. After that, there was a special meeting for several hours to discuss the US election. Both Trump supporters and Democratic Party supporters attended the meeting. They discussed rationally, presented facts, and reasoned, without any of the malicious language you are seeing on the Internet.

Although we can’t claim that a consensus has been achieved, it has not affected our shared ideology of democracy, freedom and anti-Communism. So I believe that with the passage of time and the decline in popularity, people will soon return to rationality. The CCP and its agents’ conspiracies and tricks to keep pace with the times are ultimately useless and cannot change the global trend of anti-Communism, democracy, and human rights.

2020年回顾

2020年里国际国内的局势发生了什么变化呢？对我们中国人以及中国的前途有什么影响呢？这是大家都关心的问题，甚至比过去更加关心。

第一个最大的变化，就是武汉肺炎的流行。至今已造成七千多万人感染，一百七十多万人死亡。这里边还不能计算中国的数据。因为中国政府从一开始就隐瞒疫情，编造数据，所以不带偏见的人都不会相信中国政府的数据。疫情深刻地影响了全球的政治经济。

第二个最大的变化，就是中美两国关系跌到了历史的谷底。在川普政府的推动下，四分之三的美国人认为中国是美国最大的威胁。习近平的战狼外交促使全世界都看清了共产党的狼子野心，共产党对各国的全面渗透和收买，促使各国人们提高了警惕，并采取措施应对。世界政治格局发生了根本的逆转，中国共产党陷入了空前的孤立。

第三个巨大的变化，就是香港人民和新疆人民坚决抵抗中共的镇压，获得了国际社会普遍的同情。这反过来加大了对习近平政权的压力，加剧了中共的外交滑坡。同时也加快了全球对中国人民反抗暴政的进一步支持。

与此同时，习近平政权对内的镇压进一步升级。在一些镇压手段上，比文革时期有过之而无不及。在中共最高层的纵容和授意下，暴行已经普及到最基层的政权。割韭菜已经割到了最高层的人士。中国从上到下的各阶层，都陷入到极权政治的恐怖之中。

在过去一年中，利用高科技手段全面深入镇压，是习近平政权的一个新的特点。2020年是镇压性科技爆发的一年。中国老百姓知情和表达自由的空间本来就不大，去年更受到了高科技项目的进一步挤压。老百姓陷入到进一步的恐惧之中。

由于这种深度的压迫，也由于世界反中共的潮流对中国民主自由的关注度的上升，海内外的中国人的民主运动也进入一个上升的阶段。许多已经对民主运动失望和疲惫的人，重新燃起了热情。被压迫到麻木的国内人民，反抗的行动也逐渐复苏，对民主自由的关注度也重新高涨。

这集中表现在这次美国大选，很多民运人士和关注民运的人士对川普阵营的支持上。这个热度远远超过华人之前对美国选举的关注度。川普团队改变了过去几十年对中共的绥靖政策，在经济政治军事上加大对中共的反击。特别是最近一年多来，随着美国民意对中共邪恶政权认识的觉醒，川普团队反共的步伐在加大加块。海外华人对川普的支持也在加大加快。

另外一些民运人士和华人，对川普本人几年来对反共的犹犹豫豫，以及对习近平和金三胖的肉麻吹捧反感，以及对过去多年来民主党更加关心中国人权民主的信任，站在支持民主党的一边。这本来就是很正常的现象，民主派内部从来也不是只有一种观点，从来也不是舆论一律，不得议论中央。

但是一方面由于中国人民主素养的不足，于是容易激动且容不得不同意见；另一方面明的暗的五毛特务们冒充他人身份恶语相向，胡搅蛮缠起到了挑拨离间的作用；使得支持民主反对共产党的朋友们之间，产生了一个短时间的分裂。这是民主运动的一个新形势，新问题。

我相信这只是一个短时间的现象，很快大家就会冷静下来，拨开五毛的画皮，重新团结在反共民主的大旗之下。为什么呢？就在大家情绪最分裂的期间，我们海外民运的联席会议召开了三天的会议。之后又开了几个小时的会议，专门讨论美国大选。与会的既有川普的支持者也有民主党的支持者，大家理性讨论，摆事实，讲道理，完全没有网络上那种恶语相向。

虽然不能说取得了意见一致，但没有影响对民主自由反共的共同理念。所以我相信，随着时间的推移，热度的下降，人们会很快回归理性。中共和五毛的与时俱进阴谋诡计，最终也是做了无用功，改变不了全球反共，民主人权的大潮流。
