Statement about the Incarceration of 24 Young Netizens Especially Mr. Niu Tengyu
The
Independent Federation of Chinese Students and Scholars (IFCSS) is outraged to learn about the incarceration of 24 young
netizens in connection with the Esu Wiki case in
China's Guangdong province. Among them is Mr. Niu Tengyu, 22, who was sentenced to 14 years after being
repeatedly beaten and sexually tortured in police hands despite his innocence.
We strongly condemn the Communist authorities’ brutal political retaliation
against these young people for the disclosure about Xi Jinping to the public,
who has been cheated and deprived of their right to know about the ruling
family’s secret double life. We highly appreciate Mr. Niu’s
courage in front of torture and stand with him and his persecuted fellows as
well as their families at this difficult time.
We invite
everyone to join us in support of Mr. Niu, by sending
letters and postcards and other means. He is currently jailed at:

广东 “恶俗维基案”24名年轻网民入狱，其中22岁的牛腾宇含冤被判14年重刑，并遭到警察反复殴打和性虐待。全美学自联对此感愤慨。习近平家族过着不为人知的双重生活，被他们欺骗的公众本来就有权获悉。我们强烈谴责中共当局对这群年轻人野蛮的政治报复，并高度赞赏牛腾宇在酷刑面前表现出的勇气。在这个艰难的时刻，我们与牛腾宇和他被迫害的小伙伴们、以及他们的家人们站在一起。
