A
main commemoration for the 32nd Anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre
was held in California's Liberty Sculpture Park at 41 degrees Celsius
temperature (104 F) with a wind speed of more than 20 miles/hour. Members of the U.S. Congress,
representatives of the democracy movement and leaders of the 1989 student
movement participated. It is of
special significance to review the 1989 democracy movement in China when the
new corona virus is raging. If the
1989 democratic movement had been successful, this pandemic might have been
avoided, and the rights of Uyghurs, Hong Kong people, and Tibetans might not be
as seriously violated as they are now.

The
video includes part of Wei Jingsheng's speech at the Liberty Sculpture Park in
California. He thanked the
hundreds of people who came to participate in this event under the scorching
sun to commemorate the heroes 32 years ago. He also thanked U.S. Congressman Mr. Smith (who was
attending the commemoration on site) and Speaker Pelosi for their decades of
caring about human rights in China and as leaders in the U.S. Congress who care
about human rights, democracy, and freedom.

美国主要的天安门大屠杀32周年纪念活动在41摄氏度、5级大风中的加州自由雕塑公园举办，国会议员、民运代表和八九学运领袖等参加。在新冠病毒肆虐的时候回顾六四具有特殊意义，如果当初的民主运动取得成功，疫情或许有可能避免，维吾尔人、香港人、藏人的权利或许不会遭到严重侵犯。
