Speech at the 2024 Global Tibetan-Chinese Civil Conference to Commemorate the March 10th Tibetan Anti-Violence Movement

More than sixty years ago, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched a massacre of the Tibetan people and at the same time changed the structure of Tibetan society, causing the Tibetans to live in dire straits and having since lost their autonomy over their own way of life.

If Tibetan society wants to progress and reform, that is the choice of Tibetan society and its people. Even before the CCP’s troops invaded, the upper echelons of Tibetan society had already begun to consider various reform measures. The CCP's aggression blocked these reforms and imposed a communist system on Tibetan society -- a Soviet-Russian Communist-style serfdom, and a foreign way of life that people had to accept.

The Tibetan people have their own strong belief system, Tibetan Buddhism. However, the Chinese Communist Party uses military power to suppress people and force them to give up their beliefs and accept the communist cult. This suppression led to strong resistance from the people, who still find it difficult to accept the CCP’s chaotic moral belief system.

Thus we could tell that the root cause of the Tibetan issue is the decades-long aggression and tyranny of the CCP. Without overthrowing the tyranny of the Chinese Communist Party, the Tibetan issue cannot be solved, and all problems in China cannot be solved. Therefore, the Tibetan issue is not an ethnic and religious issue, but an issue of basic human rights and the tyranny imposed by the Chinese Communist Party on society and the people. Only by uniting together to overthrow tyranny can we have a common future. Arguing endlessly on trivial matters is the CCP’s conspiracy to undermine our unity. I hope everyone will be vigilant in this regard.

六十多年前，中共发动了对西藏民众的屠杀，同时改变了西藏社会的结构，使藏人生活在水深火热之中，从此丧失了对自己生活方式的自主权。

西藏的社会要进步，要改革，那是西藏社会和人民自己的选择。在中共的军队进入之前，西藏社会上层已经开始酝酿各种改革措施。中共的侵略阻止了这些改革，强加给了西藏社会一种共产党制度，苏俄共产党式的农奴制，一种人们不得不接受的外来的生活方式。

西藏人民有自己坚强的信仰体系藏传佛教。中国共产党用军事强权的压制，强迫人民放弃自己的信仰，接受共产主义邪教。这导致人民强烈的反抗，至今仍难以接受中共混乱的道德信仰体系。

由此可以看出，几十年来西藏问题的根本，就是共产党的侵略和暴政。不推翻中共的暴政，西藏问题不可能得到解决，中国的所有问题都不可能得到解决。因此西藏问题不是民族宗教问题，而是基本人权问题，是中国共产党强加于社会和人民的暴政问题。大家只有团结一致推翻暴政，才是大家共同的前途。在细枝末节的事务上争论不休，正是共产党破坏我们团结一致的阴谋，望大家警惕。
